



Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your Tour guide driver will transfer you to your hotel. Here you will receive an orientation regarding your upcoming safari, rest and overnight.
After breakfast we travel to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater. We'll spend the entire day exploring this beautiful area. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera that is 20 kilometers in diameter and covers an area of 300 square kilometers. It is filled with history, stunning views and many large wild animals.
The Cape buffalo, black rhinoceros and hippopotamus may be spotted here. You may also have the opportunity of seeing lions and elephants. It is a unique environment where the Maasai people live among these majestic creatures. Afternoon lunchbox will be provided. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro.
The Hadzabe and Datooga people of Lake Eyasi are fascinating tribes.The Hadzabe people live solely off the land as hunters and gatherers. You'll have the opportunity to visit them, experience their way of life and hear their unique way of communication which resembles a ‘clicking’ sound. Embark on an adventurous morning hunt with the skilled Hadzabe Tribe and learn how they craft their own weapons and spears.
In the afternoon, meet the Datooga people. Take part in their bracelet making traditions and receive a lesson on how they ground maize by hand. Lunchbox will be provided. In the evening we drive to Moshi for dinner and overnight.
Today, we take a short drive towards Materuni. Hike through the village as you make your way to the waterfalls.
This village is home to the Chagga tribe who are famously known for their great tasting coffee. Here you will learn exactly how coffee is made and even enjoy the opportunity to make a cup for yourself! Spend your day hiking through lush forests and cooling off under the waterfalls. Dinner and overnight at Maasai Boma (house) with possible evening activities.
Spend the day with the beautiful Maasai people, dressed in colourful clothing and handmade bead jewellery. You will have the opportunity to help with daily chores such as milking cows and fetching water. Explore more of the village while learning more about the daily lives of the Maasai people, as well as their activities, traditions and rituals. Get a chance to purchase handmade jewellery from the Maasai women before continuing to Chemka (Kikuletwa) Hot Springs. Here you can rest and relax before returning to Moshi town.
